About the Cottage
This sweet little year round, heated, cottage rental is nestled in the woods, just two minutes south of Goderich, Ontario. (the “prettiest town in Canada”) It has quick access off Hwy 21 and is easily accessible in sun or snow! It has two bedrooms (sleeps 4), one 3 piece bathroom, and a large livingroom/kitchen. Take a two minute walk to the beautiful evening sunsets over Lake Huron and small local beach, or a five minute drive to the three beaches joined by a boardwalk in Goderich. (West Street off the town square). (highly recommended for children)
Enjoy the local attractions which include; the beaches, Huron County Museum, The Gaol, (old jail), 4 nearby golf courses, mini golf north of Goderich, town square’s Saturday market, and Sunday Flea Market, Cravings chocolate and ice-cream, old train trestle walk and trail over the Maitland River, Culberts Bakery, “slots” little casino in Clinton, or the quaint village shopping in Bayfield. Some special summer events include The Celtic Festival weekend in August, and the Art Mart weekend in July.

Dishes, utensils, pots, bbq utensils, Gas for the BBQ, Firewood for bonfires, DVDs, Books, Games, Cleaning supplies for upkeep as needed, WiFi
Bed/Kitchen Linens and Towels (We pride ourselves on our clean sheets, blankets and fresh bedspread for each visitor!)
PLEASE PURCHASE LIGHT TOILET PAPER FOR SEPTIC SYSTEM AND CLEAR GARBAGE BAGS FOR LANDFILL
Rental rate for our little gem: (Canadian funds) non-refundable
$100 per night year round
Monthly Rate September to May
$1100 per month includes all utilities/wifi/cable (phone service not provided) (rate negotiable for long-term rental)
Monthly Rate June, July, August
($2500 per month includes all utilities/wifi/cable Note: phone service not provided)
Reservation payment by Cash, Pay Pal or cheque--less than a week booking, $50. non-refundable deposit is due within 5 days of booking in order to hold the reservation. Remaining balance + security deposit cheque of $200.00 due upon arrival. (see note below re: security deposit)
Per one week booking, non-refundable deposit of $100 per week booked due within 5 days of booking to hold reservation.

Security deposit will be returned to you by mail if cottage is undamaged and not left in excessively dirty condition upon your departure.
Note: Only the cost of damage/or if necessary cleaning fees will be deducted from deposit.
Please advise us of any damage, because often we can repair it ourselves with no charge to you!
To date we have never had to keep any security deposit money!
